RAHWAY—The Rahway Division of Recreation and Parks will host Family Tennis Day on Saturday, June 27, at the Berzinec Park Tennis Courts on the corner of Central and St. Georges avenues. This free event will run from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. In case of rain, it will be postponed until Sunday, June 28.

All parents and children who love playing tennis or would like to learn how are invited. Emmanuel Victor, who is certified by the United States Professional Tennis Registry, a Rutgers University tennis coach and member of United States Tennis Association, will conduct the event.

Parents will have the opportunity to play with their children and with other children and adults. Quickstart tennis format will be introduced to children ages 10 and under.

If you have your favorite tennis racket, bring it with you; if you don’t have one, the recreation department will provide one for you. Do not bring tennis balls. Come ready to play with shorts or sweat pants, t-shirt and tennis shoes.
