SCOTCH PLAINS – Vacation and barbecues can make eating healthy a challenge, but two programs in July at the RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center in Scotch Plains can help you stay on a healthy course.
On July 16, registered dietitian Stephanie Madeira shows you how to eat healthier while eating out. Madeira shares practical advice so you can enjoy food without feeling guilty. That program is at 11 a.m.
On July 21, chef and registered dietitian Diane Weeks shows you how to make the most of New Jersey’s fruits and vegetables in a cooking program starting at 7 p.m. Weeks has simple recipes that make vegetable and fruit dishes work as main dishes, sides or desserts. Recipes and samples are featured.
