Woodbridge Rotary Awards Scholarships

WOODBRIDGE – The Woodbridge Rotary Scholarship Foundation recently awarded scholarships totaling $40,000 to 24 township residents. Eight recipients were college students, while 16 were high school seniors.

Arzina T. Alam, Jazlyn Amador, Samantha Frances Attaguile, Christopher R. DelFattore, Danielle A. DelFattore, Caitlin A. Early, Tara-Lyn Farrell, Joseph L. Galipean, Christy R. Gandhi, Wayne A. Girard, Julie B. Goopta, Michael J. Hedayat, Migara Hewavitharana, Kristen B. Kluska, Chistopher J. Lesiw, Precious C. Martin-Oguike, Amanda J. Ortiz, Indrajit Pal, Ritesh D. Patel, Sefali R. Patel, Stephanie Perez, Rosemarie Walano, Grace H. Yang and Huda Younis all received scholarships.

The Woodbridge Rotary Club established the foundation. It was initially funded with a bequest from Marie Audrey Kath, a former Woodbridge resident. The foundation is the largest provider of scholarships in Woodbridge and one of the largest in Middlesex County.
