METUCHEN – The Middlesex County Surrogate Court is opening its ninth satellite office at Metuchen Borough Hall, located at 500 Main Street.
The satellite office will handle all probate matters such as wills, administrations and guardianship of minors that are handled in the main office in New Brunswick. It will be open Wednesday afternoons by appointment. Call 732-745-3055 to make an appointment.
Middlesex County Surrogate Kevin J. Hoagland said Mayor Thomas Vahalla is a strong supporter of having the satellite office opened, and appreciates the service the Surrogate’s Office will provide residents of Metuchen and the surrounding municipalities.
The Metuchen Satellite Office joins the satellite offices operated by the Middlesex County Surrogate Court in Edison, Piscataway, East Brunswick, Monroe, North Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Spotswood and Woodbridge.
“The satellite offices enable the county to meet the needs of our residents by offering times and locations that are convenient to them,” Hoagland said. “It’s not always easy or even possible for some people to get to our main office, so we go to them.”
