Mayor Asks For Support In Search For Missing Edison Man

EDISON—Mayor Jun Choi has asked those in the Edison community and beyond to help in the efforts to find Joseph Dunsavage Sr., a township resident who has been reported missing since Sunday when Dunsavage went fishing on a catamaran off the coast of Honduras.

The Dunsavage family reached out to Choi today and asked for help.

“This community has a tremendous sense of giving. In this family’s time of need, I ask that those who can offer support do so,” Choi said.

The Dunsavage family has asked for help in creating public awareness in order to keep the search ongoing. Any amount of support will help, whether it is from the U.S. government, private entities or donations to help the family fund their private search.

Dunsavage’s son, Joseph Dunsavage Jr., has asked that people reach out to him through the social networking web site where he has created an event page called “Help My Family Find My Father.”

Those interested will be able to find directions on how to donate on that page. Dunsavage Jr. can also be reached at
