WOODBRIDGE—The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter will host the Walk to Defeat ALS fund raiser in Woodbridge on Sunday, May 3, starting at 11 a.m. at Alvin P. Williams Memorial Park (Sewaren Peninsula off Cliff Road).
The walk is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Before and after the walk there will be family friendly activities such as face painting, live music, mascots refreshments and other fun and games.

Proceeds from the event will go to The ALS Association Greater New York Chapter. As one of The ALS Association’s leading chapters, the Greater New York Chapter covers Long Island, New York City, Westchester & Rockland Counties and Northern and Central New Jersey and plays a major role in promoting the mission to lead the fight to cure and treat ALS. The ALS Association is the only national not-for-profit voluntary health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS. ALSA is a member of the National Health Council.
