RAHWAY – The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Rahway Foundation and Rose Ball Committee will honor Eric Karp, M.D. and the Rahway Regional Cancer Center with the Guardian of the Rose Award.
The honor will be bestowed at the 20th annual gala, planned for Saturday evening, April 25, at the Hotel Westminster in Livingston.
Karp had always envisioned a freestanding radiation oncology facility that would provide superior cancer care in a community setting. Fourteen years later, in pursuit of his mission to cure cancer, he has treated thousands of cancer patients with the most sophisticated radiation therapy available.
Karp leads a team of qualified and compassionate physicists, radiation therapists and nurses to administer the most sophisticated techniques of cancer treatments.
Serving the hospital has been a family affair. Eric’s wife, Debra, served as a member of the RWJ Rahway Foundation Board of Trustees and co-chairman of the Fashion Show Committee.
To make gala reservations, call the foundation office at 732-499-6135 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
