LINDEN—There are still lanes available to join team “Racing for a Cure” on Saturday, Feb. 21, for a “Night of Bowling and Raffles” at Linden Lanes, 741 N. Stiles Street in Linden.
Racing for a Cure is a team dedicated to raising money to support the American Cancer Society through the second annual Relay for Life in Clark. Relay for Life is an 18-hour event in which the participants stay up all night to help fight cancer, because cancer never sleeps. This event includes people with cancer, survivors, and those who just want to help see this disease come to an end.
The cost to bowl is $30 per person, and includes three hours of bowling, shoe rental, five raffle tickets, pizza and soda. In addition, there will be over 50 gift baskets, gift certificates and prizes donated by local and national merchants. You don’t need to bowl to partake in the raffles. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
