CLARK – There might be snow on the ground, but April 15 is just around the corner and that means it’s time to start thinking about taxes. To help tax payers understand some common tax issues, the Clark Public Library will host an informative three-part series on income-tax related subjects.
“Taxes are something that almost everybody seems to stress about,” says librarian Erin Coffey. “By offering information on common areas of concern, we hope people will better understand their options and pitfalls.”
Tax professional Corey Maness of H&R Block will present this three-part lecture series. The first in the series will focus on family tax issues and will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 at 11 a.m. The second lecture is about taxes and retirement and is scheduled for Monday, Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. The final lecture will cover employee concerns and will be held on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 11 a.m.
Patrons may attend any or all sessions. Registration is required for each lecture and can be done using the online calendar at www.clarklibrary.org, by phone at 732-388-5999, or in person.
