CLARK—The Cub Scout Pack 145 family will be hosting a pancake breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 17, from 8 a.m. through noon at the Brewer School cafeteria, 430 Westfield Avenue, Clark. The menu will include pancakes, bacon, juice, coffee, and other delicious breakfast goods.
The Cub Scout pancake breakfast is designed to enhance community fellowship and raise funds for the pack. “The entire community is invited to come and take advantage of an affordable and hearty breakfast that will help fund the many positive programs that the cub scouts provides for young men,” said Cubmaster Scott McCabe.
Boys in grades one through five are welcome to come and speak with members of the pack to learn about what makes Clark Cub Scout Pack 145 a truly unique and enjoyable experience. In the family-oriented nature of Clark Cub Scouts, each Cub Scout and their families will participate in the pancake breakfast by volunteering their time preparing food in the kitchen, serving breakfast to guests, and helping with the set-up and clean-up of the event.
The cost of the breakfast is only $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and children 11 years of age and under. The proceeds of the breakfast will be used to help fund activities including camping trips, meetings, and the many educational activities.
