ELIZABETH – A Roselle man has been charged with two counts of attempted murder in connection with an Aug. 5 double shooting.

Eric Lee, 23, surrendered to authorities on Aug. 13. He is accused of shooting Jeffrey Taylor, 33, of Rahway and Derrick Boyce, 29, of Roselle on Aug. 5 near Pennsylvania Avenue and Trinity Place, according to the Union County Prosecutor’s office.

Both victims were shot in the head, according to police. Taylor was treated for his injuries and released from University Hospital in Newark, while Boyce remained hospitalized there in critical condition last week.
