Rahway Student Honored—Adriana Angrisani, a sixth grade student at Rahway Middle School, was chosen as an honoree representing Union County in the 30th annual Wallenberg Honors Program. The ceremony was held at Parsippany Hills High School, on Wednesday, May 13. Angrisani received a $1,000 savings bond and was honored by the state legislators on June 12 in Trenton. The Wallenberg Honors program was created to recognize and praise behavior exhibited by middle and high school students that emulates that of Raoul Wallenberg, a Swedish diplomat who is credited with saving thousands of lives in Hungary during World War II.
