St. John Students Sing

CLARK—Saint John the Apostle School in Clark recently presented its spring concert featuring Schola, the school choir, and members of the sixth, seventh and eighth grade general music classes, under the direction of Tom Pedas, music director at the school

The concert opened with the Schola singing a medley of songs from “Phantom of the Opera”. This was followed by “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” featuring fourth grade soloist Katarzyna Bzdyra. Mel Freda was the accompanist for the Schola. Two eighth grade pianists, Valentina Pietrza and Scott Francis Belmont, were then featured playing piano solos.

The second part of the concert was students from the sixth, seventh and eighth grade general music classes presenting selections from “Fiddler on the Roof”. Featured performers were Nicholas Scotti, John Ryan Kowalski, Rob Mega, Padraig Monaghan, Brittany Ferreira, Ann Marie Enriques, Sara Coelho, Katherine Cymbaluk, Justin Fernandez, Erin Alexander, Nathan Magras, Matthew Rembish, Brian Lenahan, Brian Fritzsche, Katie Bricki, Ryan Sexton, Erin Roach, Stephan Bara, Jordan Doherty, Paul Sep, Brendan Lloyd, Peter Brine, Annie Cierpial, and Nick Palmeri.

Schola members included Dan Agostinho, Noah Belmont, April Beup, Victoria Birritteri, Peter Brine, Katarzyna Bzdyra, Stephen Cafiero, Matteo Cantelmi, Nicholas Cunningham, Katherine Cymbaluk, Matthew Eastman, Michael Echeveraia, Ana Marie Enriquez, Christine Golden, Anthony Hatzlhoffer, Ryan Kluse, Sonia Lenahan, Angelica Lettini, Alyssa Manzo, Robert McQuone, Annaliese Mugele, Isaiah Munoz, Kayla Rodrigues, Serena Rodriguez, Taylor Salomon, Samantha Sexton, Katie Sheldon, Tina Stanley, Samantha Thelen, Zoey Woody, and Casey Yorke.
