RAHWAY – The Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Foundation recently celebrated the success of their 19th annual Rose Ball.
“Our 19th Annual Rose Ball raised $180,000 for the programs, services and facilities of RWJUH Rahway, including the Fund for Technology Advancements,” said Christine Kline, Rose Ball Chairman and RWJUH Rahway Foundation Trustee, adding that the event enabled the Foundation to recognize the outstanding commitment and dedication of two very special honorees – G. Accepting the Order of the Rose award, Joe Starkey, executive director of public affairs and president of the Schering-Plough Foundation thanked RWJUH Rahway, adding that Schering-Plough is proud to partner with the hospital as it strengthens its ability to deliver preventative health care services, as well as emergency and chronic care.
Serving in his sixth year as chairman of the Board of Governors at RWJUH Rahway, Guardians of the Rose recipient, G. Allen Geyer asked attendees to join him in a toast as thanks to all for their support of community-based healthcare.
