GARWOOD—Erin Macee Callahan of Linden has been selected as “Teen Volunteer of the Year” by The Center of Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Scotch Plains. They held their annual volunteer awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 16, at the Westwood in Garwood. This year’s theme was “It Must Be Love” and there were over 175 in attendance.
Callahan has been affiliated with the center since 2002 and continues to be an active volunteer. She is currently an 8th grader at the McManus Middle School where she is on the Principal’s Honor Roll In September, Callahan will be attending the Union County Magnet High School.
