Kewalramani Named April’s Senior Of The Month By Edison Rotary Club

EDISON—On Wednesday, April 16, the Rotary Club of Edison honored Edison resident Kirti Kewalramani as its Senior of the Month for April at The Clarion in Edison during its Rotary Club Breakfast. After delivering a brief speech to the organization, Kewalramani received a certificate noting her accomplishment.

Challenging herself with four AP courses and actively pursuing extra-curricular activities at , Kewalramani is the editor-in-chief of the school’s literary magazine, “Visions” and recently won second prize in the Wardlaw-Hartridge Chess Tournament.

Kewalramani has been very active at JFK Medical Center in Edison: first as a junior volunteer and eventually as JFK’s first junior leader. She is also a member of the school’s French Club, Science and Math Society, Math League, Prom Sub-Committee and Club Interact.

Susan Swenson, director of college counseling, noted, “She always goes out of her way for her peers, and will do anything to make her friends smile. She hopes to continue spreading this joy and dedication as a successful doctor someday.”
