Colonial Day—As a culminating activity for their study of Colonial America the fifth grade students at Frank K. Hehnly School held Colonial Day on Feb. 21. The classes dressed in colonial clothing, used colonial names and shared their knowledge of colonial times. Parents and the third and fourth grade classes were invited into the classrooms to view the projects as well as participate at the various stations some of which were: writing with colonial ink and quill pen, being put into a pillory, butter churning, being tickled with a tithing stick, making a pomander ball, cotton combing, tar and feathering and sampling colonial food.  Pictured left to right are Alyssa Pollaro, Gabriella Parrocho and Devon Andre.
