WOODBRIDGE-The freezing winds didn’t keep stop parade goers from attending the 35th Annual Woodbridge St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 9. The parade began with the Central Jersey Marine Leathernecks Corps League followed by the John F. Kennedy High School Mustangs Marching Band in their green and white marching uniforms.

Also in the beginning of the almost two hour parade were: Grand Marshal Bill Donovan, Irish Persons of the Year Pat Cygler and Jack Wall, Miss American Irish Allyson Shea Frick and her lady-in-waiting Megan Coppa. Mayor John E. McCormac and Township Council members, the Woodbridge American Irish Association and the Middlesex County Police and Fire Pipes and Drums.

Irish music, bagpipes and drums was provided throughout the parade by the many high school bands, pipe and drum groups, Irish singers and Mummers.

Rounding out parade participates were the townships fire departments, first aid squads, organizations, scouts and school groups. Car clubs and emergency service vehicles from neighboring towns came to celebrate with the people of Woodbridge.
