Ross Named Teacher Of The Month

CLARK—Arthur L. Johnson High School’s Teacher of the Month for February was Brian R. Ross.

Ross was raised in Ramsey, in Bergen County. He graduated from Ramsey High School in 1995.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English and a minor in history from Rutgers College in 1999. After graduation, Ross worked in advertising in Saddle River.

As an account executive in recruitment advertising, he wrote copy for three years.

Ross came to Arthur L. Johnson in September 2002 as an “alternate route” teacher.

Now fully certified, “BBR” as he is known, teaches classes in journalism, cinema studies and senior English. He is the advisor to the Crusader, the school newspaper.

Outside of school, Ross is working toward his Master of Arts degree in English at William Paterson College. In his free time, he enjoys writing fiction.
